Lola’s Turmeric Honey


The ingredients make it a powerful detox tool. It stimulates your liver, your immune system, your digestion, your life energy. You can prepare an astonishing tasteful drink based on this (1 teaspoon turmeric honey in cold or hot water,
you can add it to your morning hot lemon kickstart ritual!)

Fresh turmeric is a wonderful healing plant.

Ingredients for about 600 ml:

375 ml raw honey (liquid, acacia or orange blossoms)
1 fresh ginger root (about  4 inches, peeled)
1 green lemon, untreated (cut into slices, with skin)
7  or more chunky fresh turmeric roots (peeled, use gloves, everything will be yellow…)
1 tablespoon whole black pepper
about 1 or 2 tablespoons fresh thyme (optional)

Blend everything on highest speed until smooth and creamy and store it in a glass container in your refrigerator, it will be good for several weeks.

Use: for a drink, mix 1 teaspoon with one glass of water, hot or cold.

Special: you can also use it for your salad dressing…. one teaspoon of turmeric honey, apple vinegar, olive oil, garlic, sea salt….. Yum!
